Version 1.5 Release Notes
RDK Studio is continuously updated. In general, you can directly follow the interface and prompts displayed in the client; there is no need to remember specific version numbers for daily use.
Viewing and Upgrading
Open the desktop client and go to Settings → Application & Updates to check the application status, look for updates, and perform upgrades. Upgrades will retain user data such as the local device list, model entries, local models, skills, and chat history.
The command-line tools can be enabled or re-enabled in Settings → Application & Updates → Command-line Tools. When confirmation is required in the terminal, you can run:
rdkstudio --version
dmoss-agent --version
Before and After Upgrading
- Before upgrading, it is recommended to save any code and files you are editing.
- Do not force quit the installer during the upgrade process.
- If the interface after the upgrade differs significantly from the description you see, first check the update status in Settings → Application & Updates.
- Local configurations such as devices, models, and skills are usually retained. If you need to switch computers, back up your configuration using the export feature.
